Cashew Festival
Cashews are deeply rooted in Goa's heritage. As a brand that sells and loves Feni, Goa’s heritage drink made from the cashew apple, we were excited to share its unique taste and story with everyone at the festival.

The cashew is a cute little bean that is also a powerhouse of nutrients. Ever since the Portuguese brought the cashew tree to Goa in the 16th century, it has become an integral part of the state's economy and cuisine. Today, Goa is one of the largest producers of cashew nuts in India and the local cuisine features dishes made with cashew paste, such as xacuti and vindaloo.
The Goa Cashew Fest was held for the first time on the 15th and 16th of April, 2023 to promote cashews, cashew based products and byproducts. It also aimed at empowering marginal farmers, self help groups, rural women and cashew growers.
Visitors got to experience a unique blend of Goan culture, cuisine and heritage. In addition, they got to witness fashion designers showcasing Goa’s Kunbi Fabric, and the traditional method in which Feni is made.
It truly made our evening great to see the overwhelming number of smiling faces at our stall, eager to try our Feni-Based cocktail Rosita. Being a part of your vibrant experience at the fest gave us immense joy, as did the resounding positive feedback we received from everyone. Going forward, we hope that Rosita will continue to bring the love and flavour of cashew feni into your world.
